What is Gray
Gray is a voice-first AI assistant for operating your apps and servers.
You talk. Gray listens, thinks, and acts — but it always asks before it does anything that sends, spends, deletes, or changes something important.
The three things Gray gives you
Section titled “The three things Gray gives you”- Voice and chat — ask a question, give an instruction, get an answer.
- Actions — Gray drafts, summarizes, reads, and connects to your tools. Anything consequential is reviewed before it happens.
- Console — when you need raw shell access to your own server, it’s one tap away.
Who Gray is for
Section titled “Who Gray is for”- Operators who want to run their business from their phone.
- Developers who want a private AI that can actually do things.
- Anyone who wants an assistant that asks before it acts.
What Gray is not
Section titled “What Gray is not”- Not another SSH app. (We’ve got console, but the wedge is voice + actions.)
- Not a search engine.
- Not a model — Gray is the cockpit. The brain is Anthropic’s Claude. The voice is OpenAI Realtime. You can run the brain yourself if you want.
