Your first voice command
You’re signed in, your box is connected, the scan came back clean. Try this.
Ask something real
Section titled “Ask something real”Open Talk and tap the mic (or just start typing). Good first asks:
- “What’s eating disk on this box?”
- “Tail the API logs and tell me if anything’s failing.”
- “Show me what’s running on port 8848.”
Your words appear as you speak — speech turns to text on the phone (on-device and free) and the text goes straight to your box.
Watch the lane
Section titled “Watch the lane”Gray spins up an agent lane in the feed: a live console card showing each command as it runs, then a plain-English summary when it’s done. Multiple asks run as parallel lanes — see Talk.
Approve if asked
Section titled “Approve if asked”If the agent wants to do something consequential — restart a service, delete files, change config — the lane stops at an approval gate and waits for you. Nothing runs until you approve. See Approvals.
Then look at Activity
Section titled “Then look at Activity”Every chat, run, and job lands in Activity — searchable, with full transcripts. Nothing Gray does is off the record.
